Vessel Project Management
New Building, Repair and Refit
Maritime Services (International) Ltd will provide comprehensive build, repair and refit support to Owners and managers of any sized vessel from a 20 metre tug, through a 45 metre superyacht to a 250,000 tonne FPSO conversion.
Full Management - providing technical consultancy and supervisory personnel for the entire project, pre, during and post new building/ refit as the Owner's representative and/or project manager.
New Building
- Development of the technical specification including all necessary production drawings
- Tender evaluation and benchmarking/normalisation
- Contractual negotiations on the technical specification
- On site supervision and reporting
- Commissioning, testing and trials
- Handover and delivery
Repair and Refit
- Preparation of the repair or docking specification
- Selection of potential repair/refit yards
- Tender bid evaluation and benchmarking/normalisation
- On site supervision and reporting
- Commissioning, testing and trails
Pre-Yard Vessel Survey
Condition Survey for defect identification. Development of work lists. Contractor selection and supervision. On site management including work prioritisation, critical path analysis, contract oversight and reporting against budget.
Purchase Assistance
Product selection and sourcing against budget. Technical review of alternative arrangements and weighting of relative merits.
On-Site Surveys
Weekly, bi-weekly or as required progress assessment. Independent verification of schedule completion including earned value analysis as a means of measuring progress.
Logistical Assistance
Working alongside the Owner's rep/Captain to manage contractors and yard relations.
Post Refit Warranty Surveys
Independent verification of completion to satisfactory quality. This can also be ongoing to Survey and document any possible problems from bad workmanship/faulty parts or machinery.
